Job Description:

Under broad direction, manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full life-cycle recruiting for the York facility. Work with facility management to anticipate and identify future talent needs.  Maintain and enhance recruiting processes and programs which allow Ecore to recruit qualified talent efficiently and timely.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and/or actively participate in the filling of all regular Hourly and Salary positions for the York site to include handling the medium and location for advertising, pre-screening, coordination of or participation in the interview process, reference checks, offer negotiation and administration, and background check/drug screen/physical and lift test processing 
  • Work with York operations management to plan staffing and drive efficiencies in the full cycle recruiting to reduce fill times
  • Develop and maintain a presence for Ecore as an employer in the community, creating relationships with local High Schools, Colleges, and VoTech schools
  • Facilitate and coordinate all new hire orientation processes, on-boarding and On-the-Job Training of new associates
  • Provide direction to managers and supervisors in resolving staffing needs; determine appropriate problem resolution activities and escalate when necessary
  • Provide ongoing training to hiring managers regarding recruitment processes within legal and organization policies and complies with
  • Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) programs, policies, and procedures 
  • Update and report on monthly headcount budget usage to appropriate staff members  
  • Present recruiting update at daily Production meeting 
  • Reconcile temporary labor invoices and send weekly timesheets to appropriate temp agency
  • Coordinate and track 90-day/6-month evaluations for new hires

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years previous recruiting experience to include Non-exempt & Exempt level positions and extensive knowledge in full life-cycle recruiting components, such as sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, relationship management and due diligence
  • Ideal candidate would possess understanding of the York recruiting market with connections to local sources  
  • Ability to manage recruiting resources including: internal staff, retained/contingent search firms, job boards, social networking, job fairs, and professional networks 
  • Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws 
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity
  • A variety of computer knowledge and experience to include Microsoft applications, various job boards, search engines, internet savvy, along with HRIS and ATS software
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
