Job Description:

 

The Sales Support Manager, working collaboratively with assigned Sales Team members, is accountable for planning, developing and executing processes, programs, activities and systems designed to create opportunities and support product sales and business objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform lead role responsibilities with Inside sales team in coordination with ecore Sales leadership: 
    Coaching opportunities, strategic alignment, inter-company communication, identify and define success measurements and key performance indicators
  • Act as liaison for marketing and new product development requests
  • Manage  and utilize the Pipeline CRM system to assist the outside Sales team to manage opportunities, projects and customer relationships
  • Identify, define and resolve systemic inefficiencies in order to streamline revenue generating activities
  • Directly respond to and proactively communicate with Customers / Dealers, Sales Representatives to support strategic initiatives and sales efforts: Inter-company communication, utilize Email marketing tool for training, etc.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of customer visits including lodging and travel arrangements as required
  • Responsible for the collection, assessment and distribution of sales leads and maintaining regular communication with Regional Sales Managers: Qualify and distribute incoming contacts from Ecore websites.
  • Point of contact for sample dept. Gather missing information and complete sample requests as needed.
  • Manage inter-company sales related documents on corkboard; Price lists, Lead distribution, etc. 
  • Assist Regional Sales Managers in the development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives  
  • Participate in key management/sales venues and presentations (sales meetings, trade shows, customer/vendor visits, etc.) 
  • Assist Sales Team in quote proposal preparation and project management 
  • Gather on-boarding information for new accounts
  • Assist in completion of National Account contracts 
 

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required plus an Associate‚Äôs degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study; or equivalent years of experience (2 years)
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience working within a Customer Service, Inside Sales or Commercial Flooring Sales department
  • Ability to interface effectively with diverse groups of people; ability to work independently as well as in team atmospheres 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; including positive interpersonal communication skills which require a high level of persuasiveness and personal resilience
  • Able to effectively use MS Office and learn additional (Sales Automation, etc.) software applications is required
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, percentages, and interest
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to customers in a timely manner
  • Strong follow-up techniques as they pertain to customer orders, delivery issues, requests for technical assistance and unresolved matters 
  • Must be able to travel 5-10% of the time
