Job Description:

 

This position is responsible for supporting the Customer Experience Department in the management of our customer’s orders.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Call customers that have orders on Credit Hold within 7 days of the scheduled ship date to process payment.
  • Call customers that are arranging their own freight within 7 days of the scheduled ship date to get their commitment that they will pick up their order on the scheduled ship date.
  • Assist Account Managers with the processing of purchase orders.
  • Assist Account Managers with freight quotes.
  • Help others in the Department as needed.

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in continuing education for Business Administration or related-field
  • Proficient typing skills (35 wpm minimum)
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with software applications including Microsoft Office
  • English fluency (read, write, speak)
  • Read and understand units of measure
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain a positive, polite and friendly demeanor during challenging situations
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple independent customer accounts
