Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager (Europe) is responsible for achieving budgeted sales of Ecore products and brands through various sales and distribution channels within the assigned region.  This includes cold calling prospects to generate leads, identifying and developing effective relationships with key decision makers in the region, maintaining productive relationships with current customers, call and visit customers within designated territory and provide high levels of customer service. The objective for this position is to achieve the established sales goals of the company.

  
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed territory sales revenue budget through prospecting, selling and closing new and existing projects and accounts
  • Inside/Outside qualifying/selling targeting architects, contractors, sub-contractors and dealers/re-sellers for multiple products and brands
  • Provide training for customers to enhance product knowledge in order to showcase the benefits of ecore brands 
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing sales and distribution channels 
  • Communicate customer and account requirements for existing and new customers to customer service group
  • Report monthly/quarterly to update on selling, customer and territory activity, market trends, growth strategies and competition 
  • Assist on special projects, product launch, warehousing and customer pricing models, sales report and strategies and new product development
  • Manage claims resolutions to determine the best outcome for both company and customer

Requirements:
  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field of study is required, Master’s Degree preferred; or 5 years equivalent industry work experience
  • 5+ years previous outside sales experience and demonstrated knowledge/installation experience of building materials or relevant products (i.e. equipment) primarily in the health and fitness market; secondarily in the commercial sector
  • Fluency in several languages including English 
  • Proven negotiating skills including critical and strategic reasoning under high-pressure situations with proven ability to engage in and close high-level sales
  • Must be cross-culturally sensitive, aware of regional economic differences and relative pricing expectations
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple independent customer accounts
  • Demonstrated experience managing and reporting on P&L
  • Effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills are required to successfully deliver information and clarify understanding of products and services to prospective and current customers; proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels, including executive/CEO level, via phone, email and in person 
  • Must have the ability to build and manage dealer/distribution channels through dealer networks and warehousing  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required; previous experience using CRM software is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience managing Sales Representatives or dealers preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
